TIP OF THE MONTH: Importance of Keeping Policy Information Up-to-Date

Keeping the information on your workers’ compensation policy accurate and up-to-date is not only important for the carrier and the insurance agency, but also for you as the employer. Among other factors, assigning employees to the proper classification code can help reduce the risk of over or under paying workers’ compensation premiums throughout the policy year.

It's important to reach out to us when you have a change in your business that may affect policy information, such as:

  • There is a change in your company address or you open a new location
  • You begin doing business in additional states
  • Workers' job duties change
  • There are changes in the status of your company's ownership
  • There is a change in the Owner/Officer classification

To report a change, call our licensed Client Services Team at (800) 524-7024 or reach out to your dedicated Client Executive directly.

If you need to make changes to your authorized insurance contact information, download and complete the authorization form, then email it to insurance@adp.com.
